Yemen’s Supreme Political Council Al‑Mashat Calls on Muslims to Confront American‑Zionist Aggression

The head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council emphasized Yemen’s unwavering solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and its legitimate right to defend itself against American‑Zionist aggression.

ABNA24 - The head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council emphasized Yemen’s unwavering solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and its legitimate right to defend itself against American‑Zionist aggression.

Mehdi Al‑Mashat, head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, said in his speech at the Fourth International Conference “Palestine: The Core Cause of the Nations,” held in Sana’a, the capital of Yemen, that the aggression against Iran stems directly from its principled stance in supporting Palestine and Jerusalem, its commitment to defending the oppressed, and its belief in liberating nations from American and Israeli domination.

He added that this obligates all nations to stand with all their strength beside the people of Iran and the Islamic Republic, to acknowledge its positions, and to support and appreciate its five decades of sacrifice in countering the Zionist project and American hegemony.

Al‑Mashat called on Arab and Islamic countries to confront this brutal aggression, condemn it, and prevent the enemies of nations from using their lands, waters, or airspace.

He also urged them to recognize the danger of an enemy that dreams of dominating the region and its resources and of redrawing its map within the framework of the so‑called “New Middle East” and “Greater Israel.”

Al‑Mashat warned that the American‑Zionist enemy seeks to impose a comprehensive equation on the region that would allow it to attack any country or people it wishes without justification or right.

He stressed that accepting this equation signifies the erosion of human dignity, represents an existential threat to nations, and reflects the acceptance of injustice, tyranny, and aggression, along with the abandonment of human rights and values.

The head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council called on all Muslims—governments and nations—to reassess their positions and unite in facing these dangers.

He said: “Let us all move toward solutions for our internal problems, whose greatest cause is this Zionist enemy.”

He added: “Our Eid (al‑Fitr) is infused with the spirit of solidarity and loyalty to our brothers in Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran, where they face the machine of American‑Zionist injustice and aggression.”

He stated: “The religion that commanded us to fast is the same religion that obligates us to stand against tyranny. Peace be upon those who stand firm in the fields of honor. May God make our Eid and theirs a near victory and a clear triumph.”
