Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei has offered his condolences to President Masoud Pezeshkian and the nation on the martyrdom of Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib.
In his message to Pezeshkian, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the martyred intelligence minister as a hardworking veteran of war who became injured during the war imposed by Baathist regime between 1980-88 who made great efforts in the way of the Islamic Revolution throughout his career.
Ayatollah Khamenei extended condolences to the president and his cabinet, particularly Khatib's family.
He further declared that the intelligence ministry must continue his path by creating insecurity for the enemies and security for the fellow Iranians.
