ABNA24; Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that the Zionist regime must be severely punished for the war crimes it committed, urging the international community to take serious actions in this regard.
Israel must be punished for its crimes committed against the environment, Iran’s top diplomat underlined.
Turning to the Israeli bombardment of the fuel warehouses and storages in Iran, he called the move as a gross violation of the international law and a clear example of crimes against the environment.
Not only these attacks incur serious damage to the vital infrastructures, but also will face citizens with long-term trauma, he said, adding that contamination of soil and underground water resources can have dire consequences that will continue in future.
Araghchi emphasized that the Zionist regime must be severely punished for the crimes committed against environment, asking the international community to take urgent measures in this regard.
