AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says it has launched the 54th wave of Operation True Promise-4 to target the Israeli military's aerial command centers, using strategic missiles, inducing solid-fuel-powered Sejjil.
An IRGC statement announced a new wave of operations against enemies on Sunday afternoon, saying the missiles were fired with the sacred motto 'O' Zahra (PBUH)' and in the name of martyrs by reading a verse from the holy Qur'an.
It said that a three-stage solid fuel-powered Sijjil, super-heavy Khorramshahr with a two-ton warhead, as well as, Qadr, Emad, and Kheibar‑Shekan missiles were successfully fired at key decision-making centers, military infrastructure, and gatherings of the regime's forces in the heart of the occupied lands.
The US and the Israeli regime launched a joint military aggression against Iran on February 28, some eight months after they attacked the country last year. Both attacks came as Tehran was in the midst of diplomatic talks with Washington over its peaceful nuclear program.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was assassinated in a US-Israeli terrorist airstrike targeting his residence and office.
In response, Iran has carried out targeted, proportionate self-defense strikes against Israeli positions and US regional military bases, warning that further aggression will face a harsher response.
