AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his readiness to share the expertise and skills of Ukrainian soldiers with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to counter Iranian drone attacks.
Ukrainian forces have been frequently targeted by Russian drones in the four-year war with Russia, giving them valuable experience and insight into countering drone threats.
Earlier, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer suggested that British and Ukrainian specialists could collaborate to assist West Asian countries in defending against Iranian drones.
Iran has launched extensive drone attacks against US bases in Gulf countries since the recent war began. Many of these attacks have successfully evaded the host countries' defense systems, hitting their targets.
Zelensky’s offer to support the UAE comes as Ukraine has been heavily reliant on NATO and US assistance to continue its war effort against Russia.
