Al‑Abbas Holy Shrine Launches “Little Quranic” Program at Eye of Life Festival

The Al‑Abbas Holy Shrine launched the “Little Quranic” program during the Fourth Eye of Life Festival in Baghdad, aiming to promote Quranic culture among children and youth. The festival features competitions, performances, and diverse cultural exhibitions.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Scientific Complex for the Holy Quran at the Al‑Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine has launched the “Little Quranic” program as part of the activities of the Fourth Eye of Life Festival.

The festival is organized by the Al‑Qabas Foundation for Culture and Development in cooperation with the holy shrines of Imam al‑Hadi, Imam al‑Askari, Imam al‑Hussayn, Imam al‑Kadhem, Imam al‑Jawad, and al‑Abbas (peace be upon them), along with several cultural and intellectual institutions. It is being held at the Baghdad International Fair from 12 to 16 February 2026, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Imam al‑Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance).

The program is supervised by the Quranic Institute in Najaf al‑Ashraf, affiliated with the complex, and aims to instill Quranic values among children and youth. It features a Quranic competition, gift distribution for participants who answer correctly, and a performance by Husseini munshid Muhammad Baqir Qahtan.

The festival also includes a wide range of activities such as book, photography, drawing, engraving, and Arabic calligraphy exhibitions, in addition to theatrical performances, displays of rare artifacts from the museums of the holy shrines, and other events that highlight Islamic cultural identity and strengthen the educational role of religious and social institutions.
