Lebanese Scholar: Any Insult to Iran’s Leader Crosses Red Lines of Muslim Ummah

A senior Lebanese cleric has warned that any insult directed at the Leader of the Islamic Revolution amounts to crossing the red lines of the Muslim Ummah, underscoring his central role in preserving Iran’s unity and strengthening the regional resistance front.

AhlulBayt News Agency: A senior Lebanese cleric has warned that any insult directed at the Leader of the Islamic Revolution amounts to crossing the red lines of the Muslim Ummah, underscoring his central role in preserving Iran’s unity and strengthening the regional resistance front.

In a video message marking the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Sheikh Hussein Ghabris, deputy head of the Union of Resistance Scholars, reaffirmed his support for the Islamic Republic and defended the institution of religious leadership in Iran.

Referring to Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, Ghabris described his leadership as wise and steadfast, saying it has been a decisive factor in maintaining cohesion among the Iranian people in the face of unrest and external pressure.

“The wise leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei is the cornerstone of unity among the Muslim people of Iran,” he said. “Any insult directed at him is considered a crossing of the red lines of the Islamic Ummah.”

The Lebanese scholar stressed that attempts to undermine Iran’s leadership are part of broader efforts aimed at weakening the country and destabilizing the region. He said the Islamic Republic has repeatedly demonstrated resilience despite political pressure, sanctions, and what he described as coordinated campaigns of destabilization.

Expressing confidence in the continued path of the Islamic Revolution, Ghabris addressed the Iranian nation directly: “We believe no harm will befall the Islamic Republic of Iran. From here in Lebanon — a country that has known you, tested you, and continues to stand alongside this blessed revolution — we say: O people of Iran, continue your path with God’s blessing. We pray for you, and we stand with you and your positions.”

He added that solidarity among resistance movements and Muslim nations remains essential in confronting efforts to sow division and weaken independent states across the region.

His remarks come as resistance-aligned figures across West Asia reiterate the importance of unity, steadfastness, and adherence to the principles of the Islamic Revolution more than four decades after its victory.
