AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto traveled to East Java to attend the centenary celebration of the Islamic organization Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), held under the theme “Great Mujahadah of a Century.”
According to a statement from Indonesia’s Presidential Secretariat, Prabowo departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta for East Java.
The president was accompanied by several senior officials, including the Speaker of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR), the foreign minister, the minister of state secretary, the cabinet secretary, the head of the Presidential Communications Office, and the deputy minister of agriculture.
The report said that after arriving in East Java on Saturday evening, Prabowo held several meetings and is scheduled to attend the “Great Mujahadah of a Century” event on Sunday, February 8. The ceremony is organized by the East Java branch of Nahdlatul Ulama (PWNU) and will take place at Gajayana Stadium in Malang.
More than 100,000 people are expected to participate in the religious gathering. The “Great Mujahadah” has been described as a symbol of Nahdlatul Ulama’s strength and commitment to serving as a social and religious pillar of the nation.
