Ahlulbayt News Agency: The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Friday evening that Jabreen Ahmad Jabr Qut, 59, was martyred after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in Madama town, south of Nablus.
The General Authority for Civil Affairs informed the ministry of Qut’s killing and that his body is currently being held by Israeli authorities.
According to Ameed Ahmad, director of the Emergency and Ambulance Center at the Red Crescent in Nablus, Qut sustained critical injuries near Madama after being shot by the Israeli forces.
He noted that Israeli forces blocked emergency medical crews from reaching the injured man and instead transported him to an unknown location. Coordination efforts with the Red Cross are currently underway in an attempt to retrieve the body.
Over the past week, Israeli occupation forces have escalated their attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem, committing 1,024 violations, including killings, arrests, home raids, and assaults on property and religious sites.
