AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Center for Lawyers, Official Experts and Family Counselors of the Judiciary has drafted a legal complaint against senior US officials, the terrorist Pahlavi foundation, and dozens of other individuals and entities over their alleged role in recent unrest, its head said.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Hassan Abdolianpour said the complaint targets US leaders, its Central Bank, the CIA, the US secretaries of war and Treasury, two American arms manufacturers, the terrorist Pahlavi foundation, the so-called Iran International terrorist network, and Manoto TV, along with other figures accused of inciting riots and terrorist acts.
Abdolianpour said the center, a specialized body for legal advocacy and expert work, views the recent unrest as “day thirteen” of the 12-day war imposed on the country by Israel and the United States last June.
He said tragedies occurred in the recent unrest that were not befitting to the country, adding that from the outset, the people, security forces, and the judiciary distinguished between protest and riot and acts that disrupt public security.
“The criminal president of the United States, officials of the Zionist regime, and the terrorist Pahlavi network seized these protests from the people and dragged them into illegal riots,” he said, adding that the Pahlavi foundation used “assets stolen from Iran” to carry out killings and unrest.
