AhlulBayt News Agency: An Israeli drone strike hit a residential area in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, in what regional media described as another breach of the ceasefire agreement.
Lebanon-based Al Mayadeen reported that an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle carried out the attack on the town of Zibqin, located in the Tyre District of southern Lebanon. According to the network’s correspondent, the strike targeted a civilian neighborhood.
According to Mehr, the report said the attack occurred amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire arrangement in Lebanon, which has been repeatedly breached since it came into effect.
Following the incident, the Israeli military released a statement claiming that the drone strike was aimed at a Hezbollah member in the Zibqin area of southern Lebanon.
