AhlulBayt News Agency: On Sunday, a group of extremist Jewish settlers forcibly stormed and seized a Palestinian-owned house in the Old City of Occupied Al-Quds.
Local sources reported that the house is situated in the Hosh al-Zurba neighborhood near the Qatanin market, adjacent to the western wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The settlers reportedly entered and took control of the house just days after the passing of the Palestinian woman who owned it. Eyewitnesses said the settlers even held a celebration outside the property following the takeover.
According to local officials, Jewish settlers and affiliated organizations employ a variety of tactics—including harassment, pressure, and questionable contracts—to seize Palestinian real estate in Al-Quds’s Old City.
This ongoing escalation in home and land confiscations is fueled by a lack of legal protection for Palestinian residents and active support from Israeli police, enabling settler groups to advance Judaization efforts and remove native Jerusalemites from their homes.
