AhlulBayt News Agency: Palestinian media outlets have reported a new wave of Israeli airstrikes across Gaza, leaving scores dead and injured amid the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe.
According to Palestine’s Shehab news agency on Monday, over 30 people—most of them women and children—were killed in an Israeli strike on the “al-Baqa” beach resort. Dozens of others sustained injuries in the attack.
According to IRNA, in a separate incident, Israeli warplanes targeted a mobile phone charging station near the Abu Asi checkpoint on Al-Wehda Street in central Gaza. At least three people were killed and several more wounded. Witnesses described harrowing scenes, as civilians attempting to charge their devices during Gaza’s electricity blackout were caught in the blast.
Another assault near Halawa intersection in Jabalia, northern Gaza, also resulted in casualties, though the full extent is yet to be confirmed.
Al-Shifa Medical Complex reported receiving 39 deceased and more than 100 wounded within a single hour, issuing an urgent alert regarding severe shortages of medical supplies and resources.
These strikes come amid an already dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, where Israel continues to target civilian infrastructure, including electricity and basic services. The escalating offensive underscores the systematic nature of the Israeli regime’s actions against the Palestinian population.
Since October 7, 2023, at least 56,500 Palestinians—primarily women and children—have been killed, and over 133,000 injured in Israel’s relentless bombardment of Gaza.
In response to these actions, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants in November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity. Additionally, Israel is currently facing genocide charges at the International Court of Justice over its military campaign in the besieged enclave.
