AhlulBayt News Agency: Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani stated that Israel failed to achieve any of its strategic objectives during its recent aggression against Iran.
In a statement to Al Mayadeen, she outlined Iran’s view of the conflict, its deterrence capabilities, and its nuclear program, asserting that Iran’s national resolve has only grown stronger.
Mohajerani said Israel made a strategic miscalculation and paid the price, dismissing Israeli claims of success as internal propaganda.
She emphasized that Iran’s military is built on deep, layered, and self-reliant capabilities, and that its response was both symmetrical and asymmetrical, effective in deterrence.
Regarding Iran’s nuclear program, she confirmed it will continue peacefully and uninterrupted, with national development as its goal.
She criticized the IAEA and its Director-General Rafael Grossi for failing to condemn attacks on Iranian nuclear sites, calling it a breach of the agency’s responsibilities.
As a result, Iran’s parliament passed a law suspending cooperation with the IAEA, now ratified by the Guardian Council, with future decisions to be guided by the Supreme National Security Council.
Mohajerani condemned Western double standards and silence in the face of Israeli aggression, saying such behavior amounts to complicity in war crimes.
She urged countries to adopt independent, responsible positions and reaffirmed Iran’s readiness to respond to any future threats.
She concluded by stating that Iran’s red line is national security, and its message to the region is one of peace, cooperation, and resistance to occupation.
