AhlulBayt News Agency: The Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza announced on Sunday that the number of Palestinians killed in what it described as “Israeli-US death traps” has reached 450, with thousands more injured or missing. The term refers to so-called aid distribution points which have repeatedly been targeted by Israeli occupation forces (IOF), resulting in mass civilian casualties among those seeking food and relief.
According to a press statement, the total toll stands at 450 martyrs, 3,466 wounded, and 39 missing since the targeting at these sites began.
The GMO emphasized that these attacks are part of the genocide campaign that has been ongoing since October 7, 2023. This includes systematic killings, enforced starvation, large-scale destruction of infrastructure, and forced displacement—actions that openly defy international law and the rulings of the International Court of Justice.
Backed militarily and politically by the United States, the Israeli occupation army has left over 187,000 Palestinians martyred or wounded, with more than 11,000 still missing, and hundreds of thousands forcibly displaced. The siege-induced famine has already claimed numerous lives, including many children.
Despite repeated international calls for a ceasefire and humanitarian intervention, the IOF continues its campaign unchecked, with what observers say is deliberate targeting of aid seekers to maximize civilian suffering and pressure.
