AhlulBayt News Agency: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and killed a Palestinian man near the separation wall in Faqqu’a village, north of Jenin, on Tuesday evening.
Local sources reported that Issam Kamal Rabay’a was shot and killed by Israeli forces near the apartheid wall in Faqqu’a while attempting to reach his workplace in Israel.
The sources added that the IOF seized Rabay’a’s body and prevented Palestinian medics from accessing the area.
The Israeli army regularly opens fire on Palestinian workers near the apartheid wall as they attempt to reach their workplaces within the Green Line.
With Rabay’a’s death, the number of martyrs in Jenin Governorate has risen to 41 since the start of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the city and its refugee camp.
Also on Tuesday evening, the IOF detained several Palestinian civilians in Khirbet Yarza, east of Tubas, and raided Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem.
Mokhles Masaeed, head of the village council in Yarza, reported that IOF troops stormed the village, detained several residents, raided their homes, and checked their ID cards.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader and stationed themselves near the Grand Mosque, the Gate neighborhood, and the Sabri area along the main street. They fired stun grenades, though no injuries were reported. Several youths were detained and had their IDs checked.
