AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a warning that the ongoing criminal acts of the Zionist regime, bolstered by Western support, are contributing to widespread instability and insecurity across the region.
During a phone call on Tuesday with Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President Pezeshkian highlighted that the Zionist regime has consistently violated international laws, committing crimes with the backing of major powers. If this pattern persists, he cautioned, the region may never experience lasting peace and tranquility.
The president further explained that while the Islamic Republic has been working towards resolution and understanding through negotiation, the Zionist regime has once again launched a widespread attack, resulting in the deaths of ordinary civilians and targeting non-military sites.
Furthermore, Pezeshkian expressed his view that he considers neighboring countries as brothers, reiterating his commitment to unity and cooperation with other countries. However, he noted that from the very beginning of his administration, the regime has sought to obstruct their efforts, particularly through the assassination of Hamas’ political leader Esmaeil Haniyeh.
In response, the UAE official expressed solidarity with the Iranian government and people.
He highlighted the deep interests and commonalities shared between the two nations and noted that they have initiated extensive contacts and consultations to reduce tensions and restore stability and security to the region.
