AhlulBayt News Agency: The Prime Minister of Iraq has ordered that Iranian pilgrims be returned to their country via the Ar’ar border crossing and then through Iraq’s other border crossings with Iran.
On Monday, Iraqi Prime Minister “Mohammed Shia al-Sudani” assigned a team to manage the land return of Iraqi and Iranian pilgrims from Saudi Arabia.
This team, led by the Iraqi Minister of Interior and including the head of the Hajj and Umrah Organization, the head of the National Intelligence Service, and the head of the Border Crossing Authority of Iraq, will facilitate the return of Iraqi and Iranian pilgrims from Saudi Arabia through the Ar’ar border crossing into Iraq.
Additionally, the team will be responsible for overseeing the departure of Iranian pilgrims to the border crossings between Iraq and Iran.
Earlier, “Salman bin Abdulaziz,” the King of Saudi Arabia, had instructed that all the needs of Iranian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia be met.
