AhlulBayt News Agency: The administration of former US President Donald Trump secretly supplied Israel with approximately 300 AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, according to a report by The Jerusalem Post.
The report states that these missiles were not solely intended for offensive operations but also aimed at reinforcing air defense systems in case of Iranian retaliatory missile strikes.
A particularly notable version of these missiles, the Hellfire R-9X, features a non-explosive kinetic warhead known as the Flying Sword. This design is intended to reduce collateral damage and civilian casualties while allowing for precision strikes inside residential areas.
Due to their high accuracy, these missiles are typically deployed to target command centers, as well as scientific and military facilities.
This transfer has been seen as evidence of prior coordination and joint strategic planning between the Trump administration and Israel, with allegations that advance intelligence on possible attacks was leaked.
