AhlulBayt News Agency: Sheikh Ali Qaradaghi, President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, condemned the U.S. veto of the draft resolution for a ceasefire in Gaza, calling it a direct partnership in the slaughter of civilians.
In a statement on his personal page on X, Qaradaghi criticized the U.S. government, stating that its veto in the Security Council enables genocide in Gaza, while providing deadly weapons to the occupying forces.
He asserted that all U.S. policies and speeches, including its latest Security Council statement, reflect Trump’s agenda, which aims to displace Gaza’s residents.
Qaradaghi suggested that Trump and Netanyahu are fully aligned in their actions, and that any apparent differences between them are merely a political display.
He warned that this approach will lead to further devastation, instability in the region, and the rise of new waves of terrorism and hatred.
