AhlulBayt News Agency: On the 36th death anniversary of Imam Khomeini (R.A), a special women's program titled "Yaad-e-Imam Rahil" (In Memory of the Departed Leader) was held at Mahfil-e-Sania Zahra, Zeb Palace, Andheri (Mumbai). The event was organized to honor the legacy and teachings of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The blessed gathering began with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an by Zainab Noorani and Alia Meghani, setting a spiritual tone for the evening.
Renowned speaker Khawar Yashab Fatima delivered an insightful speech, highlighting Imam Khomeini’s sincerity, humility, and his ten years of rigorous self-training. She emphasized one of his key teachings: "Do not be pleased by people's praise." She also raised concerns about today’s youth, particularly girls, achieving worldly success but becoming distant from their essential responsibilities, such as raising children, nurturing family values, and managing household duties.
During the program, she also referred to the exemplary role of Lady Zainab (S.A.) in the aftermath of the tragedy of Karbala, calling it a timeless lesson for all women.
Khawar Rukhsar recited heartfelt poetry, while girls from Madressa Saarullah (Mumbra) presented soulful suruds (religious songs). Another emotional performance was delivered by the girls of Madressa Bint al-Huda (Zeb Palace), who sang a moving tribute filled with love for the Ahlul Bayt (A.S.), which was warmly received by the audience.
The event was beautifully moderated by Ms. Ruqaiya Naqvi, who carried out her responsibilities with grace and professionalism.
The gathering saw the presence of many prominent female scholars (Zakiraat) and devout women (Mo’minaat) from across Mumbai, who came together to remember and honor the great revolutionary leader, Imam Khomeini (R.A.).
