Hamas condemns Israeli destruction of Gaza dialysis center

Hamas condemned Israel’s destruction of the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center, calling it part of a systematic attack on Gaza’s healthcare sector. The Palestinian Health Ministry warned that kidney failure patients face severe consequences due to the loss of medical facilities. Hamas urged the UN to take action against Israel’s ongoing violations.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Hamas Movement has strongly condemned the Israeli military’s destruction of the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center in northern Gaza, calling it a deliberate attack on Gaza’s healthcare sector.

In a statement issued Monday, Hamas emphasized that tens of thousands of patients—including women, children, and the elderly—are now left without access to medical care for chronic and life-threatening illnesses.

The Movement accused the Israeli government of systematically targeting all aspects of life in Gaza over the past 19 months.

Hamas stated that these violations, carried out by Netanyahu’s regime, blatantly violate international laws and conventions. It further accused the U.S. administration of providing political and military protection for Israel’s actions, while the international community remains silent.

The Movement urged the United Nations and the UN Security Council to uphold humanitarian values, take action to stop the ongoing genocide in Gaza, and hold Israeli leaders accountable for war crimes.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that Israeli forces demolished the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center in northern Gaza.

In a press release on Sunday evening, the Ministry stated that the center had provided essential dialysis services to kidney patients across northern Gaza.

It warned that the destruction of the facility places kidney failure patients in a catastrophic health situation with severe consequences.

“41% of kidney failure patients have died during the war due to being denied access to dialysis centers, following the destruction of these facilities,” the Ministry reported.

The Ministry further accused Israel of pursuing a dangerous policy aimed at eliminating hospitals and specialized healthcare centers in northern Gaza.

Since March 2, Israeli occupation forces have imposed a total blockade on Gaza, preventing the entry of humanitarian aid, food, medical supplies, and fuel—essential resources needed to sustain the population.
