AhlulBayt News Agency: Registration for the 48th edition of Iran’s National Holy Quran Competition concluded on May 31, 2025.
The process of organizing this year’s competition began in late April with the publication of the call for registration.
The competition will be held in two sections, one for men and one for women, as announced by the organizing body.
Each section will feature two age groups: 12 to 18 years and above 18.
Participants will compete in various categories, including Quran recitation, Tarteel, memorization (at four levels), prayer recitation, Adhan (call to prayers), Quranic teachings, Nahj-ul-Balagha, and Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh.
The National Holy Quran Competition, organized by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, is Iran’s largest Quranic event, drawing participants from across the country.
This annual competition, considered the most prestigious Quranic event in Iran, aims to promote Islamic values, enhance Quranic literacy, and recognize outstanding talent.
The top winners will go on to represent Iran in international Quran competitions worldwide.
