AhlulBayt News Agency: The Gaza Government Media Office (GMO) reported on Tuesday that Israeli occupation forces killed three Palestinian civilians and wounded 46 others at an American food distribution site in Rafah. Many civilians in the area were also reported missing.
According to Al Jazeera, US security contractors working for an Israeli-US-backed foundation lost control at the site shortly after it opened. The chaotic situation led to uncertainty about the fate of several individuals.
The Palestinian Center for the Missing and Forcibly Disappeared stated that several citizens went to one of the US aid distribution points in Rafah on Tuesday afternoon but never returned home. As of a few hours after the incident, there was still no confirmed information about their whereabouts.
The center held the Israeli army fully responsible for the disappearance of these civilians. It called for immediate disclosure of their fate and urged authorities to ensure a safe and fair process for humanitarian aid distribution.
Additionally, the center warned that similar incidents could occur again due to ongoing security chaos and the lack of protection guarantees for civilians.
