Iranian FM emphasizes commitment to Muslim unity during Hajj

AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has reaffirmed the country’s strong stance against any attempt to undermine Muslim unity, particularly during the sacred pilgrimage of Hajj.

In a message on X on Tuesday, Araqchi emphasized Iran’s commitment to fostering positive relations with its regional neighbors, stating, “We will not allow any actions that sabotage our brotherly ties, including the progressive path of Iran and Saudi Arabia.”

According to IRNA, He praised the management of this year’s Hajj, acknowledging Saudi Arabia’s efforts in organizing the pilgrimage.

“I extend warm greetings and prayers for continued success to the Government and people of Saudi Arabia as they welcome Muslims to the Holy Shrines,” Araqchi added.

The remarks highlight Iran’s focus on maintaining regional stability and cooperation, particularly in the context of religious gatherings that bring together millions of Muslims from across the world.
