AhlulBayt News Agency: Yumiko Takashima, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) representative in Iran, has praised Al-Zahra Hospital in Isfahan for its exceptional medical services provided to Afghan nationals.
According to IRNA, during her visit to the hospital, Takashima toured specialized medical departments and engaged with Afghan patients, expressing admiration for the compassionate and non-discriminatory care they received.
In a letter addressed to the hospital director, she commended Al-Zahra’s dedication to equitable healthcare despite economic hardships, international sanctions, and the soaring cost of medical equipment.
Takashima acknowledged the hospital’s vital role in delivering quality medical treatment to Afghan nationals, highlighting its unwavering commitment to humanitarian principles.
As one of Iran’s leading medical centers, Al-Zahra Hospital serves hundreds of patients daily, including foreign nationals, and continuously strives to uphold high healthcare standards.
