AhlulBayt News Agency: The National Day for Mass Graves in Iraq featured the opening of an exhibition showcasing historical photos and documents. The event aimed to preserve and document the tragic history of mass graves in Iraq.

The Iraqi Center for Documenting Extremism Crimes, affiliated with the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, organized the event under the slogan: "In mass graves... the truth was hidden, but not buried." It took place in the holy city of Najaf.

Dr. Abbas al-Quraishi, director of the center, stated that the event concluded with the opening of a photographic and documentary exhibition. The exhibition serves as a record of the crimes committed against the Iraqi people across various communities and sects.

He emphasized that the exhibition was designed to educate future generations, particularly young people, about the severe violations endured by their parents and grandparents under the previous regime.

The exhibition featured a collection of photos and documents detailing acts of genocide. The goal was to highlight the sacrifices made by the Iraqi people in their struggle against oppression and tyranny.
