AhlulBayt News Agency: Israeli regime forces have continued their brutal assaults across the besieged Gaza Strip, killing scores of Palestinians.
Medical sources reported on Friday morning that at least 143 Palestinians have been killed in a wave of Israeli attacks from air, land, and sea since Thursday morning.
In the five hours since midnight local time, at least 21 people were confirmed dead due to Israeli strikes. One of the latest attacks targeted the Jabaliya refugee camp, killing six civilians and wounding many others.
An earlier strike on the same camp resulted in the deaths of at least 15 civilians, including 11 children and a woman.
In the southern city of Khan Younis, two separate attacks left five civilians dead and many others wounded. Meanwhile, two more Palestinians were killed, and several others—including children—were injured after a house was bombed north of Gaza City.
The health ministry in Gaza reported on Thursday that 2,876 people have been killed since Israel resumed strikes on March 18. The overall death toll in Gaza since the war began on October 7, 2023, has reached 53,010.
In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces continued their raids, blocking roads on Thursday after killing four Palestinians across the region.
Israel intensified its offensive against the West Bank on January 21, claiming it was targeting resistance fighters from the Jenin Battalion. Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces and settlers have killed approximately 1,000 Palestinians in the occupied territory.
