AhlulBayt News Agency: The head of Yemen's booth at Tehran International Book Fair said that Iran and Yemen have a lot of historical and religious commonalities.
Abdul Rahman Rajeh, Head of the Yemeni booth at Tehran International Book Fair, said on Sunday, "Yemen is there in the poems of Iran's poets and Farsi proverbs. This indicates the deep historical, Islamic, religious and cultural relations between the two nations."
Abdul Rahman Rajeh, speaking about the positive effects of this cultural event for further familiarization of both nations with one another's capacities, said, "The endeavor of our ministry of culture, the Yemeni embassy and the Yemenis living in Iran, is to make the Iranian people familiar with Yemen, history of Yemen and whatever is taking place in Yemen, and thank God, we have received a very broad welcome."
Rajeh added, "Yemen and Iran enjoy a great cultural relation and, as in the issue of the love of the Ahl al-Bayt, we have many commonalities with the dear Iranian people. People come to our booth and express kindness and speak about the resistance, Seyyed Abdul Malik Al-Houthi and support for the people of Gaza."
The 36th International Book Fair of Tehran has started since 7 May and will continue till 17 May in the site of Imam Khomeini Prayer Site of Tehran. The theme of this year's fair is, "Let us read for Iran".
