According to reports from Ahl al-Bayt (AS) News Agency — ABNA: The third International Conference of "Media Narrators of Ahl al-Bayt (AS)" took place at the Assembly Hall of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) Qom, coinciding with the "The Days of Kiramah": a ten-day sacred period from the 1st to the 10th of Dhū al-Qaʿdah, commemorating the birthdays of Lady Masuma (S.A.) and Imam Reza (A.S.), with the presence of media professionals and scholars from Iran and several African countries. The event was organized by the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) International News Agency (ABNA).
During the ceremony, Dr. Seyed Mohammad Amin Aghamiri, a member of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace and head of the National Center for Cyberspace, shed light on the recent developments in media and cultural management over the past five years. He said: "In the past, language was a serious barrier to content transmission, but today, with modern tools, content can be translated and redistributed into various languages within seconds. This transformation presents an opportunity to disseminate the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) to the farthest corners of the world, but it also poses a threat from content that contradicts our values."
He pointed to the role of social networks and micromedia, adding: "Today, the influence of small media is greater than that of official media, and we must leverage these capacities to produce extensive, engaging, and high-quality content. Artificial intelligence, by reducing costs and increasing the speed of production, is also a powerful tool for conveying value-based messages."
Aghamiri emphasized: "Quick and intelligent access to these technologies can give us a competitive advantage in the media field. If we do not act today, this opportunity will soon be available to everyone, and our advantage will be lost."
At the end of the event, the new multilingual version of the International Ahl al-Bayt (AS) News Agency (ABNA) website was unveiled in the presence of Dr. Aghamiri and Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, Secretary-General of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
