AhlulBayt News Agency: A ceremony was held in the Muharraq Governorate of Bahrain on Monday to honor young Bahrainis for their Quranic activities during the holy month of Ramadan.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa attended the ceremony, welcomed the continued commitment of the government in supporting those who memorize the Holy Quran.
He said that Bahrain attaches great importance to teaching the Holy Quran and encouraging its memorization, efforts which have been done for generations.
He honored Bahrainis aged between 15 to 20 who helped organize the Taraweeh and Qiyam prayers during the holy month of Ramadan as well as those who have memorized the entire Holy Quran and shared their recitations through national radio and television.
Shaikh Mohammed affirmed that excellence in Quran recitation and memorization is a source of national pride and extended his appreciation to the event organizers.
