AhlulBayt News Agency: Famous Shia cleric Maulana Syed Ahmed Ali Abdi emphasized the importance of education, stating that true love for Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (S.A.W.) is reflected in following His teachings.
On January 24, 2025, the Friday prayer was offered at the Khoja Shia Isna Ashari Jama Masjid in Palagali, Mumbai, under the leadership of Hujjatul Islam Wal Muslimeen Maulana Syed Ahmed Ali Abdi.
During the sermon, Maulana discussed the martyrdom and oppression faced by Imam Musa Kazim (A.S) and emphasized the need to raise a voice against the oppression of Shia Muslims.
He stated that when the Imams were oppressed in the past, the Ummah was silent, and today, the world remains silent in the face of the oppression of Shia Muslims.
Maulana also criticized those who issue a fatwa of kufr (disbelief) against Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S), describing it as an injustice to the Ahlul Bayt (A.S).
He said that on the Day of Judgment, it would become clear that Hazrat Abu Talib's son, Imam Ali (A.S), will be the one to distribute paradise and hell.
The Maulana highlighted the great blessings Allah bestowed upon the first and final Ummah, saying that no other Ummah was given such a great Prophet and Book as was given to us.
The Principal of Jamiat-ul-Imam Amirul Momineen (A.S.) also emphasized the importance of education, stating that true love for Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (S.A.W.) is reflected in following His teachings.
Maulana referred to the advice of Marja-e-Taqleed Ayatollah Syed Ali Sistani and expressed the desire to see Indian Shias excel in the field of education.
He stressed that this can only be achieved by identifying and nurturing talented children, even those from underprivileged backgrounds, and providing them with opportunities for progress.
