AhlulBayt News Agency: Lebanese political activist has warned of Takfiri (excommunication) terrorism as a threat that indiscriminately challenges all faiths.
Professor Mayram Doulabi, speaking at the eighth webinar of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference related on the ways Muslims should fight against terrorism.
She stressed role of talks and wisdom in settling hostilities and that they should materialize the rights of all people.
She noted that in a fight against terrorism gender and tribal background have the least importance and that people from all religions should contribute to the counter-terror campaigns.
The Lebanese activist called on the Islamic institutions and organizations to cooperate with each other and avoid any measure which will lead to tribal conflict and division.
Professor Mayram Doulabi highlighted importance of mutual respect among the different Islamic denominations in their move towards true Islam in a way that it sets a role model for the global community.
The Lebanese scholar condemned the countries normalizing ties with the Israeli regime and stressed the fight against Israeli regime as one of the most important missions upon all Muslims.

The 37th International Islamic Unity Conference has been scheduled to convene Shia and Sunni elites and religious figures on 28th September to 3rd October 2023. As organized by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, this year the meeting focuses on the theme “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values.” The event is annually held concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week which marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
