AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): An unexploded mortar shell went off in Iraq’s Najaf Governorate, killing one individual.
According to Shafaq News, Iraq’s health ministry said the explosion killed a girl and injured three others.
The two women and a child injured in the incident have been taken to the hospital, the ministry said.
Security forces have cordoned off the area in al-Houli region, 35 kilometers north of Najaf and on the road to Karbala.
It is not clear what caused the explosion of the mortar shell.
