AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed, in a phone call, on Tuesday with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman al-Safadi the situation in Syria and the region.
RT quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying, in a statement, that the two sides exchanged views on the main issues in the region, particularly the situation in Syria.
The two Ministers expressed rejection of the unilateral steps regarding the settlement in the Middle East and the necessity of finding appropriate circumstances to resume dialogue between the Palestinians and the Israeli occupation authorities according to the UN resolutions as soon as possible.
