Saudi aerial aggression loses control after revealing fate of Tornado pilots

The Saudi-UAE-led aerial aggression apparently lost control, in less than an hour, by launching about 30 airstrikes in all directions, including control sites of the Yemeni Army and Committees in Najran and Jizan.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Saudi-UAE-led aerial aggression apparently lost control, in less than an hour, by launching about 30 airstrikes in all directions, including control sites of the Yemeni Army and Committees in Najran and Jizan.

According to local and security sources, during the last hour, coalition warplanes launched 30 raids that were distributed north to Al-Jawf, Sa’adah, Amran and Najran governorates, and west to Hajjah and Jizan.

The sources indicated that coalition warplanes launched 7 raids on the Sufyan district and a raid on Khulan district in Sana’a governorate, as well as two raids on the Shada district in Sa’adah governorate.

"During the last hour, coalition warplanes launched 5 raids on the Haradh district in Hajjah governorate, 4 raids on Al-Hazm district and 3 raids on the Khub Wa Al-Sha’af district in Al-Jawf governorate," the sources added.

Coalition warplanes also launched 5 raids on the Wadi Jarah Valley in Jizan and two raids on the Al-Shorfa area in Najran.

The coalition's escalation of its raids comes less than 24 hours after it announced its response to the call of United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and his envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths for a whole ceasefire in the face of coronavirus.

Observers attribute this escalation, which they likened to a "hysteria attack", that it comes in response to the disclosure of Leader of Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi for the first time about the fate of the crew of the Tornado plane that was downed by Yemeni Air Defenses in mid-February.

Yemeni Air Defenses have shot down with a locally developed long-range Fater-1 surface-to-air missile defense, a Saudi Tornado warplane in the skies of the Al-Maslub district in Al-Jawf governorate.

The Saudi-Emirati coalition officially admitted the loss of the fighter jet in Yemen. The spokesman of the brutal aggression coalition announced what he called "a Tornado fighter plane of the Royal Saudi Air Force crashed in Al-Jawf and the communication with its crew was interrupted."

On the other hand, the Army and Popular Committees did not reveal the fate of the pilot and his assistant, who survived the intensive raids launched by the coalition warplanes on the location of the downing of their fighter jet in the Al-Maslub district, committing a heinous massacre against dozens of civilians around the site.

Meanwhile, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi revealed the fate of the fighter jet’s crew, announcing in his speech, Thursday, his initiative and "complete preparation for the release of one of the captured pilots along with 4 Saudi officers and soldiers in exchange for the release of the kidnapped Hamas members.
