AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): 20,000 Muslim worshipers performed Friday prayer in the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque amid strict measures by the Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) on the gates and entrances to the Old City in al-Quds (Jerusalem).
Sheikh Yusef Abu Sneina, the preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, warned in his Khutba (sermon) of the escalation of the IOA measures against al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
For its part, the Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem confirmed that it will continue to deploy guards and volunteers at the doors of the Mosque and in its courtyards to guide the Muslim worshipers and urge them to maintain distance and to draw their attention to the importance of wearing masks during prayer to protect them from being infected with the coronavirus.
