AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran's Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani has said that Soraya's (TV program) team had the necessary permissions, but the Zionist regime’s attack on journalists was against international law.
Amani wrote in Farsi on his account on the X, formerly known as Twitter, on Saturday that "last night I pursued the rescue and withdrawal of the Soraya news team from the war zone until the Lebanese Armed Forces rescued them from the area".
He added that the injury of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s revolutionary journalist Mohsen Maghsoudi caused us to worry, but the Zionist regime’s disregard for international law led to the incident.
Iran's ambassador to Beirut underlined that Soraya TV program journalists had the necessary permissions in Lebanon.
On Thursday afternoon, a group of Iranian documentary makers in the Soraya TV program who were stationed on the Lebanese border were shot by Israeli regime's forces.
One local Lebanese person was martyred during the incident while the others were rescued from the area after the Lebanese Armed Forces broke the siege and transferred them to a safe place.
