AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Iranian Cultural Center in Algeria is holding a Quranic essay writing competition in the Arab country.
The contest, which is held on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, is aimed at highlighting the efforts of the Algerian people to serve the Holy Quran both before and after the country’s independence.
“Quran and Algeria” is the title of the competition, according to the center.
Those willing to take part in the contest can submit their essays to the center by the first day of the lunar Hijri month of Shawwal, which marks Eid al-Fitr.
Role of mosques and Quranic schools in promoting Quran memorization and teaching the Holy Book, introducing active centers in the field, introducing active figures who have served the Quran, role of Quranic research studies in enhancing Muslim unity, and introducing academic institutions active in Quranic fields could be among the themes of essays.
The essays should be written in at least 15 pages and they should be sent to the center via WhatsApp.
