Over 8,000 meals served by host restaurant of al-Abbas holy shrine in one night for fasting visitors

The host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine provided more than (8000) iftar meals to the fasting visitors, who came to visit the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), on the first Thursday night of the holy month of Ramadhan.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine provided more than (8000) iftar meals to the fasting visitors, who came to visit the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), on the first Thursday night of the holy month of Ramadhan.

Adel al-Hamami, head of the host restaurant Department, stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "based on the directives of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, to provide meals for visitors throughout the week with a daily Iftaar and suhoor meals during the nights of the holy month, especially on Thursday night, which witnesses the influx of large numbers of visitors".

"The plan developed by the host restaurant during the holy month of Ramadhan, includes the provision of Iftar meals distributed to visitors through external outlets and following a regular and consistent distribution method, ensuring that all visitors receive their iftar meals before the time of Iftar. We distribute (3000) meals daily," he added.

"For the special status of Thursday night in this holy month, we prepared the suhoor meal, which is offered to visitors on the field, by more than (5000) meals, which is one of the qualitative and quantitative additions that we initiated this year," al-Hammami said.

He pointed out that "We continue this service throughout the days of the holy month, and it will take an upward trend with the coming days and multiply during the Blessed nights of Qadr, God willing," he concluded.
