AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): An Afghan citizen who participated in the Arbaeen Hosseini Walk said, “The freedom lessons of the uprising of Imam Hussein (a.s.) is for all humanity to not tolerate oppression in any way, to avoid a humiliating life, and to be honored with honorable death.

Morteza Jannati, an Afghan pilgrim who participated in the Arbaeen 1443 AH/2021 AD pilgrimage, stated that his motivation for Arbaeen journey was to respect the divine rites and to be fellow-traveler with Imam Mahdi (a.s.).

“The spiritual dimension of Arbaeen pilgrimage is very attractive and everyone who decides to participate in this ceremony will give their heart and soul,” he added.

“The first and most common lesson for all humanity is the lesson of the freedom of Imam Hussein (a.s.). That is, we should never tolerate any oppression, avoid humiliating life, and be honored with honorable death,” stated the Afghan citizen, in response to ABNA correspondent’s question on the lesson that can be learned from the uprising of Imam Hussein (a.s.).

“Arbaeen is a preparation for the advent of Imam Mahdi (a.s.). By this respect to the divine rites, love, passion and service, Insha’Allah we will be one step closer to the advent of that Imam,” said Jannati, a 20-year clergy at Najaf Islamic Seminary, on Arbaeen message.

“One of the beauties after the advent of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) is universal justice and just divine rule. The Arbaeen Walk, which is extremely beautiful, is also a prelude to the rule of world justice,” he stated.

“Afghan pilgrims are always oppressed. The borders are now closed and we ask the Iranian government to provide the necessary assistance,” concluded the Afghan citizen in the end, on the situation of Afghan pilgrims.
