Hamas leader Haniyeh speaks results of Saif Al-Quds battle

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas’s leader, has affirmed that the Israeli occupation regime is no longer able to protect itself.

During a meeting with several youth unions and institutions and the Palestinian refugees in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Tuesday evening, he pointed out that the last battle between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation showed that Israel is in the position of defense, not the position of the attack.

“The resistance determines the timing of the missile launching and the dates of strikes, meanwhile the Iron Dome which covers all the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories failed to stop these missiles”, he underlined.

Haniyeh explained that the battle of Saif Al-Quds is different from other battles because the resistance has actually taken the initiative and has launched its missiles in defense of al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Hamas leader stressed that the option of liberation and return is achieved through resistance, especially since the option of negotiation with and recognition of the “occupation entity” had failed.

Regarding the global attitude, Haniyeh said, “The support was huge and unprecedented and several cities, including American and European, witnessed large demonstrations, as well as on the political level, which witnessed a distinguished role that put pressure on the occupation.”
