Photos: Ayatollah Khamenei attended ceremony of cleaning Shrine of Imam Reza (a.s)

Approaching the month of Muharram and the mourning ceremonies on the martyrdom of the master and sovereign of all martyrs [Imam Hussain (a.s.)], the ritual ceremony of clearing dust from the noble tomb of Imam Ali Ibn Musa al-Reza (a.s.) in the holy city of Mashhad was performed on Saturday, with Ayatollah Khamenei, a number of scholars and the various groups of people in attendance. The Leader of the Islamic Revolution has always attended this spiritual ceremony which is held frequently by Astan Quds.
