AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): On its first day of presence in Iran, the convoy of al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance, provided the flood-stricken residents of the villages of Ahwaz and Hamidiyeh with constructional services and presented foodstuffs.
According to the report of al-Nujaba’s Centre for Relations and Media Affairs in Iran, the convoy of al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance, sent to Iran in order to help the victims of floods in Khuzestan and Lorestan, on Sunday, both in the morning and the afternoon, attempted helping the flood-stricken people of Ahwaz’ and the convoy, besides conducting constructional operations, provided the people of some villages with the needed foodstuffs.
The forces of al-Nujaba, attending al-Ghadir region, located in the northwest of Ahwaz, on the sidelines of Ahwaz-Andimeshk Road, created a levee to prevent water from entering the city.
The aforesaid operation was carried out in participation of some commanders, directors of provincial offices, top-rank members of the Movement, headed by the chairman of Executive Council and the deputy secretary general of al-Nujaba, Haj Nasr ash-Shammari.
Al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance has sent its volunteer forces in three Jihadi groups to different regions of Ahwaz and Hamidyeh to distribute the collected aids among the people hit by the recent floods.
Halaf village, located around Hamidyah, and Malihan region, located in 20 kilometers distance from Ahwaz, were two regions receiving aids and helps from the Iraqi combatants.
It should be mentioned that the relief convoy of al-Nujaba Movement, including one hundred heavy and light vehicles entered Iran early this week; it brought the humanitarian helps and aids presented by the Iraqi nation to Iran to be distributed among the flood-stricken people.
