AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Israeli bulldozers demolished Palestinian-owned greenhouses and a steel structure, on Sunday, in the Beit Iksa village, northwest of the central occupied West Bank district of Jerusalem.
According to local sources, Israeli forces along with several bulldozers stormed Beit Iksa and prevented the residents from entering or exiting the village.
Sources confirmed that Israeli bulldozers demolished greenhouses and a steel structure, which belonged to two brothers, Haitham and Ibrahim Abed al-Wahab.
The reason for the demolition remained unknown.
Although Beit Iksa is located immediately next to Jerusalem, the village's lands have been progressively confiscated and the village is surrounded on all sides by the Israeli separation wall. Villagers can no longer travel to Jerusalem without permits, and Palestinians not resident in Beit Iksa cannot enter the single Israeli checkpoint that allows access to the village.
