(AhlulBayt News Agency) - A Palestinian man succumbed on Monday to wounds he had sustained previously during protests along the Israeli-imposed border in eastern Jabaliya, in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed that Nasser Aaref al-Ureini, 28, succumbed to his wounds while being treated at the Indonesian Hospital.
As of May 15th, the ministry of health reported that 115 Palestinians had been killed by Israeli forces during the “Great March of Return” protests along border.
Israel has been heavily criticized for its use of excessive force and live ammunition against the civilian protesters.
Following the passage of a UN resolution to send war crimes investigators to Gaza, the Israeli Supreme Court rejected a petition from six human rights groups to declare unlawful the Israeli military’s regulations that allow soldiers to open fire at unarmed civilians.
