The behavior of the US unwise President who knows nothing about history and was busy doing business is not new for the Iranian people, Velayati made the remarks Saturday in reaction to US President Donald Trump's recent allegations.
Iran has announced its principled positions and will be committed to it, he said.
Military Forces such as Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) belong to people, he noted.
He went on to say that IRGC has been successful in bringing power and security for Iran and to brought extremists and Takfiri terrorists to their knees.
US President Donald Trump on Friday took a new strategy towards Iran and decertified Tehran's commitment with the 2015 landmark nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Trump's approach has been criticized by many countries, international bodies, political communities and world media.
'Iran nuclear deal is not a bilateral accord and it belongs to no country and no country is able to terminate it,' High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said minutes after Trump's speech on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Iranian President Hassan Rounani in a televised message shortly after Trump's speech said his remarks were 'nothing but a handful of baseless and empty allegations against the Iranian nation'.
