Videos of Prince Saud Bin Abdulaziz Bin Musaed Bin Saud Bin Abdulaziz, reportedly acting violent, went viral on Tuesday, July 18.
The next day, King Salman reportedly ordered the prince to be arrested and footage of the prince being escorted in handcuffs by two officers has surfaced.
According to a state run news channel Al-Ekhbariya, the arrest was issued to stop others from repeating the behavior of the prince and to remind citizens that fair rules are enforced.
Al-Ekhbariya also said, by order of the king, everyone involved in the violent videos will be detained until a ruling under Islamic Shariah laws is issued against them.
According to this footage which spreaded out on social networks Saudi prince is beating citizens including women.
The clips went viral in Saudi Arabia under an Arabic Twitter hashtag that said "prince transgresses on citizens".
