(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Islamic Center of Moscow has in a message condoled demise the late Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani, saying that the relentless combatant spent his life on prosperity of the glorious Islamic establishment and played a unique role in all fields.
Demise of the age-old companion of the late Imam Khomeini and of the Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has caused deep sorrow, director of the Center Hojjatoleslam Saber Akbari-Jeddi said in his message on Tuesday.
Fundamental role of the relentless combatant in fighting the tyrant royal regime, development of prosperity of the Islamic movement led by the late Imam Khomeini as well as his invaluable services in post-Revolution era in various posts will never be eliminated from the honorable history of the Islamic Revolution and memories of the Iranian nation.
Ayatollah Hasehmi died at the age of 82 due to cardiac arrest caused by heart attack in Tajrish Martyrs Hospital on January 8.
