Pakistan: Different Shia organizations hold conference on targeted Shia killings

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) Party leaders strongly denounced the increased targeted killings of Shia Muslims and incompetency of the ruling government to punish the killers.Shia leaders also demanded the Supreme Court of Pakistan to supervise the investigation into the killings, expressing their distrust over the Punjab government’s investigation team.Shia organizations have called for more anti-government protests until justice is served.Different religious organizations across Pakistan have denounced the continued killing of Shias. They have called on the government to ensure security and religious freedom for not only Shias, but also all the Pakistani people./149
